It's one of our favorite days of the year, Cinco De Mayo! We've pulled together a list of the some of the Village's best spots serving the finest margaritas to celebrate and honor the day!!
First, a brief history lesson on the history of Cinco De Mayo! The date commemorates the Mexican Army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza. The victory represented a significant morale boost to the Mexican army and the Mexican people at large, coming to symbolize national unity and pride for what seemed like a Mexican David defeating a French Goliath.
