For four days this spring, the Village becomes the beating heart of global storytelling. From April 30th to May 3rd, PEN America’s World Voices Festival returns for its 20th edition—a milestone that brings together over 80 writers from more than 30 countries in a spirited, joyful celebration of literature’s power to connect across borders, languages, and experiences.

This April, poetry takes center stage in Greenwich Village as the Village Alliance and the Poetry Society of America come together to celebrate National Poetry Month with a unique installation at Ruth Wittenberg Triangle.

The Village Alliance is working with NYC Councilmember Carlina Rivera to address crime around the station through the installation of security cameras for Village police precincts.

Exciting news for cyclists, commuters, and anyone who loves a more connected, safer Village: Sixth Avenue has a major upgrade from Lispenard Street in Tribeca to West 13th Street in the Village.
